Primary Responsibilities: Provide security and emergency response services throughout the resort, ensuring that performance is within the guidelines of written procedures and resort philosophy.Enforce security and safety guidelines to safeguard resort and guest property. Investigate and document incidents of concern and properly respond to resolve issues of concern.Patrol hotel building, grounds and other areas on the resort as assigned, noting unusual circumstances, persons, and /or safety violations.Assist managers with security at hotel related functions; escort persons off property. Provide entry gate security. - Greet and welcome all guests in a warm and friendly manner with eye contact and a genuine smile.

- Greet all guests upon arrival at our Greeter Stations withAloha, Good Morning, Good Afternoon, or Good Evening.
- If you are not greeting any inbound guest at our Greeter Stations, you should be acknowledging outbound guest (standing, smiling and waving).
- Answer all telephones within three rings and greet all callers with, Aloha,
- Respond rapidly to all emergencies and manage crisis situations in an efficient and professional manner.
- Exhibit a calming demeanor and has the ability to manage emergency situations.
- Do foot and mobile patrol of the resort.
- Investigate and fact finding inquires through short and long term observation, review of documentation, interviews and interrogations.
- Accurately document incidents, inquires and investigations.
- Answer telephone, monitor security cameras and dispatch security officer.
- Enforce security and safety guidelines to safeguard resort and guest property.
- Coordinate and supervise special assignments.
- Perform department administrative duties such as ID card production, issuing vehicle parking decals, locker, paychecks, etc. as needed.
- Do vehicle, locker and parcel search and other duties relating to security or safety as directed.
- Escort individuals off property.
- Provide security at hotel related functions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
* Ability to use the telephone and radio.
* Ability to use various office equipment including but not limited to calculators, photocopiers and facsimile machines.
* Ability to use AED.
* Drive a vehicle.
* Ability to operate a utility vehicle or cart.
* Ability to remain calm in emergency situations.
* Able to manage stressful and challenging situations.
* Able to stand, walk, bend and reach during most of shift.
* Lift and carry up to 10 lbs.
* Must have the ability to communicate verbally to employees, managers and guests/clients.
* Interviewing skills; write accurate reports and document investigations.
* Ability to communicate over the phone or radio.
* Current Hawaii State Guard Card
* CPR/1st Aid certified
* AED Certification
* Ability to multi-task
* Drivers License when operating company vehicle
