What we're looking for in a Copywriter: We're looking for an experienced Copywriter to join our team who is a conceptual and strategic thinker with excellent writing skills. You will play a critical role in developing and executing various marketing programs, spanning national ad campaigns to long-form site content. Your work will captivate a variety of consumer segments, as well as business audiences. Your day-to-day responsibilities include: In this role, you will demonstrate a high level of professional craftsmanship and superior writing skills. This entails developing and executing creative copywriting strategies in alignment with overall marketing objectives and brand voice. You will conceptualize creative campaign platforms, which serve as a long-term communication foundation for key segments and product portfolios. You will write clear, concise, and engaging copy across various marketing materials such as advertising, merchandising, organic social, websites, email, product content, and collateral. Occasionally, you will conduct proactive research to better understand the language and perceptions of the target audience, thus enhancing the relevance of your work. Your role also requires the translation of complex ideas and technical information into persuasive copy that drives action and conversion.
Proactive collaboration is a key component of this position. You will partner with the art director to conceptualize approaches that meet program objectives and review and edit the work of other writers to enhance quality and clarity. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing leadership, channel experts, and strategists, is crucial to ensuring cohesive messaging and brand consistency. Finally, you will work with the project management team to forecast workloads and project timelines.
A few things we'd like to see: - A portfolio with a variety of examples, such as ad campaigns, social, web, email/CRM and longer form content
- Experience working on consistent campaign work
- Experience working with consumer electronics, outdoor recreation, or automotive brands
- Experience working in technology or telecommunications categories
- Basic grasp of Figma
- Strategic thinking related to your portfolio work
- Exceptional writing skills with a keen eye for detail and a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and syntax
- Familiarity with SEO is a plus
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation platforms is a plus
Your qualifications include: - Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English or a related field
- Proven track record of success as a copywriter, with experience in a similar role, preferably within a fast-paced marketing or advertising agency environment
- Demonstrated ability to craft persuasive, customer-centric copy that drives engagement and conversion
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization

This position is based in our Cottonwood Heights, UT corporate office. You will enjoy a flexible work model with a schedule of 3 days in office and 2 days from home per week (details will be provided during the interview process).
We offer a competitive salary range between $70,000 and $90,000 a year depending on experience, plus a company profit-sharing bonus every 6 months.
